1. The 7-day window
If you cancel within 7 days of your first subscription charge, you receive 75% of that first month's payment back, no questions asked.
The 25% retained covers the work already done: your free preview, the initial site setup, and the deployment to a live URL.
2. Why not 100%?
Because by day 1 of your subscription, your initial site is already live. Real pages, real copy, hosted and accessible. The 25% we retain is a fraction of what a comparable agency project would cost upfront.
3. After 7 days
Refunds are not issued after the 7-day window closes. Your options remain open:
Cancel — no further billing. The website goes offline at the end of your current cycle. You keep your domain registration. Source code is not transferred.
Downgrade to Essential — if you are on Studio, switch down to keep your site live without ongoing change requests. This is our maintenance plan.
Continue — keep getting updates, hosting, and support under your subscription.
4. How to request a refund
Email johan@themanomano.com within 7 days of your first charge. Include your subscription ID (in your welcome email) and a one-line reason — helpful for us, not required.
Refunds are processed within 5 business days through the original payment method via Lemon Squeezy.
5. Exceptions
This policy does not apply when:
The service was used for activities prohibited under our Terms of Service.
Substantial work outside the included subscription was performed and billed separately (for example, custom integrations explicitly quoted and approved separately).
