Calatrava

Colegio Calatrava — preschool to high school in Bogotá — needed every parent to read and acknowledge the school's manual de convivencia (code of conduct). The previous flow was a PDF plus a paper signature returned through the kid's backpack. Half came back. The other half disappeared into the year.

We built a web app where each parent logs in with their cédula, reads the manual section by section, answers a short check after each block, and gets a final certificate when every block is approved. The app tracks who completed it, who's pending, and who started but didn't finish.

Stack: native Python with a SQL database for parent records and per-block progress. No third-party integrations, no external dependencies — a self-contained app the school owns end-to-end. The admin sees a real-time dashboard segmented by grade and section: at the end of the term, Calatrava has audit-ready proof that every parent saw the policy.
